Choosing the right file:

- If you have an online connection while running the MySQL Installer, choose the
mysql-installer-web-community
file. - If you do NOT have an online connection while running the MySQL Installer, choose the
mysql-installer-community
file.

As of MySQL 5.1.6, MySQL Server provides flexible control over the destination of output to the general query log and the slow query log, if those logs are enabled. Possible destinations for log entries are log files or the generallog and slowlog tables in the mysql database. If you have an online connection while running the MySQL Installer, choose the mysql-installer-web-community file. If you do NOT have an online connection while running the MySQL Installer, choose the mysql-installer-community file.
